German's leading shipbroker agency Frachtcontor Junge acquires Antwerp's Mareteam BV

Summer 2026 – Mareteam BV is an Antwerp based shipping broker that acts as an intermediary between shipowners and shippers. Mareteam's primary activity is assisting its international client base on the cargo side. Mareteam seeks the right partner to ship goods safely, on time, and at a fair freight rate. Mareteam is mainly active in the bulk sector, but also in the food and steel industry. It primarily handles coasters (2,000 to 10,000 tons) but is also active in larger vessels (20,000 to 45,000 tons) worldwide.

Mareteam’s owners, Nancy Nuyts and Roeland Coppens, exclusively mandated M&A boutique DaVinci CF to advise them with the sale of Mareteam’s shares. With Frachtcontor Junge Antwerp, a suitable buyer within the industry was found. Nancy and Roeland will remain in charge of the daily operations further strengthened by Frachtcontor Junge’s specialised workforce.
